Diane has been quilting since 1983. She loves working with many different techniques. her favorite parts of quilting are design, color choice and the quilting itself. Her first real landscape quilt from a picture was done in a class with Linda Schmidt. She chose the picture on this page of a breathtaking monument high on an Alpine pass in Norway. She used many quilting techniques and thread painting as well as fabric painting to add to the picture.
