Quilting Inspiration and Education
Our hosting company was updating the backend and we’ve had some difficulty updating the website, (which drives the app.) Things appear to be in order, so we’ll get back on track and post the group project suggestions and instructions for Brook’s Quilt in a day or two.
I took my granddaughter to her first quilt show the other day. We noticed that there were some “Real Quilters” there- the threads on our clothes gave us away.
She was interested before the show, but, once she saw the beautiful quilts, she could hardly wait to design and make her first quilt.
She designed a log cabin variation. We’re scaling it back to 12 blocks so she’ll be able to complete it without short changing her homework.

Voters chose the multi-colored diamond design, so the quilt will be finished and sewing instruction posted.
A new project will begin on Friday, stay tuned…
