Description

The first in QT’s Historical Block Series. Whirlpool is also known as “Windblown Star.” We know this block has been coming around at least since the 1700’s, as it was found in a quilt in Maine in 1778. It is made from half square triangles and has endless possibilities. The pattern includes directions to make the block, a diagram to use to audition your own colors, and ideas of quilts to make from the block.
